Would you like to make chicken breast recipes involving root beer (RB)? This article offers two different recipes for you to try. The directions are similar, but the ingredients vary. In either version, the recipe feeds roughly 6 people (your mileage may vary -- take hunger into account, as well as what else is being served for the meal!). See the items below for more information.
Ingredients for #1 (garlic version)
1 1/2 pounds chicken breast (CB) meat
1 medium onion, thinly sliced
1 bell pepper, red -- or another color if preferred, sliced
2 medium garlic cloves, minced
1 can (12 oz size) of RB
Salt and ground pepper to taste
Ingredients for #2 (ginger version)
1 1/2 pounds CB meat
1 medium onion, thinly sliced
1 bell pepper, green -- or another color if preferred, sliced
1 inch ginger, minced
1 can (12 oz size) of RB
Salt and ground pepper to taste
Directions
To cook this recipe using an oven, put the CB in a properly-sized casserole dish and cover it with all of the remaining ingredients. Cover dish bake it in the oven at 350 F for a length of time between 35 and 45 minutes (the chicken should become tender). At the end of this process, uncover your recipe and allow it to bake for an additional 10 minutes.
If you would rather fry the meal, then use a frying pan on the stove, with medium heat, and place the CB into it. Add the root beer next, and then follow it up with the rest of the items in this meal. Once the RB has come to a boil, flip the CB onto their other side to lead to more even cooking.
